AQT Solar's executive team has over 50 years of relevant experience in high-volume, low-cost, high-tech manufacturing in start-ups, mid-sized and large companies. This encompasses R&D, product development and commercialization, manufacturing and business operations. They all have stellar records of accomplishment and have been intimately associated with photovoltaic and thin film products and technologies relevant to AQT Solar's mission.

Michael Bartholomeusz, CEO and co-founder, has served in technology and executive capacities in the aerospace, electronics and energy industries and has extensive expertise in global enterprise management, joint ventures and acquisitions. With eleven published patents and over twenty pending, he has a PhD in Materials Engineering from University of Virginia and Executive Business Management training from The Darden School of Business and The St. Gallen Management Institute in Switzerland.

Brian Bartholomeusz, Vice President of Corporate Strategy and co-founder, has 21 years of high-tech experience. As Executive Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for Moser Baer, a global PV and optical disk manufacturer, Brian led international joint ventures and partnerships, and was key to their entry into PV manufacturing. Brian holds a MSc in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University and a PhD in Materials Engineering from Stanford University.

Mariana Munteanu, Vice President of Technology and co-founder, has extensive experience in R&D and rapid commercialization in the disk drive industry. For the past decade, she was key to the successive generations of innovative products for Seagate, the world leader in hard drive manufacturing. Mariana holds advanced degrees in physics and materials engineering from San Jose State University and Stanford University, has five granted patents and over 15 patents pending.
